My dad always had great advice (as most dad’s do), but these two pieces of advice have stuck with me over the years. “Do what you love, love what you do” &  “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life!”

Finding the one thing you love is not always easy. I have found, I love many things, but childcare was my love for a number of  years (25 yrs to be exact). However, as life changes, goals change & interests change…So, back in 2007, I made a huge decision to step away from the one thing I thought I would be doing for the rest of my life (teaching) and start a career in real estate. I am thankful for my time in childcare, as it was a wonderful experience and was very rewarding. Becoming a REALTOR® has been so rewarding as well and is truly something I love! In 2008, I partnered with another agent and was a top producer during one of the most challenging housing markets, but I gained valuable experience in short sales, REO’s & Foreclosures!  During this time, many “seasoned” agents in my office would complain that they were doing twice the work for half the pay. Fortunately, I didn’t know any differently, so working hard was what I did. I also teamed up with my husband, who is a General Contractor and went into the “house flipping” business. I can say, we had a great time finding the “diamond in the rough” (and back then, there were MANY rough diamonds) and making it beautiful again! Although he now does mostly custom countertops, the experience I gained while working with him flipping homes was priceless.

I currently live in the Fair Oaks area near the American River. I am a country girl at heart, having grown up in the Wilton/Sloughhouse area of Sacramento.  I attended a small private school out in Wilton and after college became a preschool teacher and eventually the principal of a large child care facility in the Elk Grove area. I have 3 wonderful girls and am married to my fabulous husband, Michael. I love spending time together with my family ~ going for walks along the many trails of the American River Parkway and Sailor Bar; traveling to Hawaii and Oregon where we have extended family.  I also walk, train and raise funds throughout the year with the Komen Hand Up For Hooters Team. Every November, I and my teammates join the big “Pink Bubble” at the Komen 3-Day in San Diego and walk 60 miles over 3 days. We raise funds for research, studies, education and support for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Go to www.handsupforhooters.com for more information.

My goals in real estate are to help my family, friends, and clients fulfill their dream of homeownership and work by referrals so that I can provide my clients with the first class service they deserve.

I heard from my daughter the amount of dedication and work and follow-up that Michelle put into the purchase of their home. Michelle continued contact with them after the purchase and was key in them being able to purchase the home. With that information I interviewed a few agents including Michelle and knew right away that she not only knew what she was talking about, but her "can do" attitude, kindness, and willingness to contribute elbow grease to get the job done made the decision to go with her easy. I'm recommending her to everyone I know who might remotely be interested in buying/selling because of the type of person she is. What an asset to Lyon and the world in general. I hope Lyon appreciates what a committed and honorable person they have in Michelle. Although the other seller from whom we were buying was less timely in their responses to us Michelle always remained positive and persistent and professional.

Michelle nosal did an amazing job she was so helpful and understanding. Anytime something came up she was always ready to find out what to do next or fix the problem. She was very friendly and patient with my situation. I would recommend her to everyone I know she worked very hard to find my son and I the perfect home.

Michelle is a great agent who has now helped us buy and sell a home in El Dorado Hills, CA. She was so patient with us and really listened to what our needs were - in both the buying and selling processes. We were so pleased with Michelle's marketing plan, including the use of a wonderful local designer, Melissa Kellogg. Our home showed beautifully both online and in person. As a result, we sold our home within days! Michelle continued to work with us on a rather accelerated timeline, ensuring the closing went as well as possible. I would certainly recommend Michelle as an excellent realtor and someone we now consider our friend. Thanks, Michelle & Lyon Real Estate Fair Oaks!

Michelle was the first realtor we had when we bought our first house. She knows me and my husband well, and knew although our first house was a good investment at the time, we were ready to move on and find a place we could make a home. She knew what we were looking for, understood our desires, and knew our standards. She was very patient with me, especially considering how anxious I can be. =) She helped us find an area that felt like home and did everything she could to get us out of the old and into the new. She was s blessing and we appreciate everything she did!!

The escrow process seemed really smooth, no doubt because of all of Michelle’s hard work! My husband and I feel we have made some great new friends in this home buying process.
